Learning to render rock in pixels. Man, I suck at this so far. This here is several hours into my umpteenth try. I deleted first umpteen. Any specific critique, advice welcome.
Also, I finally got Photoshop, 'cause my tablet doesn't work with GIMP. Boy, Photoshop runs smoothly compared to that open source stuff, but, c'mon, they can't give us the full range of customizable hotkeys? You oughta see the huge number of programmable hotkeys in GIMP! Where is the 'rotate brush' hotkey in Photoshop?

I am loving digital painting with a tablet. For the longest time I couldn't get the feel o' one o' these things, but now something's clicked. I've finally loosened up with it.

Here're a couple of mural projects, one with kids, one of my own. Neither photo is of the finished product. I put 'em up here real quick 'cause someone wanted to see them. Hopefully I'll have photos of the finished pieces soon.
